Brief info

Dr. Megan Cherry specializes in cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Cherry serves on the faculty of the Allergan Medical Institute, where she teaches doctors throughout the country the best techniques for various injections.

Originally from Mobile, Dr. Cherry graduated first in her class at Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology–Psychology in 2004. She continued her medical training at The University of Alabama, where she was recognized as the highest-ranking student in the clinical setting upon graduation in 2008. In 2012, Dr. Cherry completed her residency at UAB where she was named Chief Dermatology Resident. She and her husband, Brad, met at Birmingham-Southern and have twin girls, Charlotte and Elizabeth.

Dr. Cherry is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Alabama Dermatology Society, the Women’s Dermatologic Society, Alpha Omega Alpha, and Phi Beta Kappa.
